We didn't ride today. It was a true day of rest. Rather than ride 10 miles into town for church and 10 miles back to camp, we just called the local bishop and asked permission to hold our meetings here. This was the smallest church meeting I have ever attended - 4 members.
I love to take pictures of silly signs that I see along the road. For your reading enjoyment we are posting a few of them today.
I've caught up with your daily posts - and I'm glad you had a day of rest! I know its tons of hard work but looks like a lot of fun too :)
ReplyDeleteBy my count, you traveled 100 mile the first week and just over 200 miles the second week. I'm guessing that as everyone gets in biking shape, you'll feel anxious to push it some. I'm enjoying the views you describe. Please don't let progress become more important than experiencing where you are. This is a rare opportunity. Savor all of it. I sure am proud of your entire family for undertaking such an amazing voyage together.
